Admission Procedure:-
Admission to CIIT is highly competitive, but those who come here will enjoy the benefits of excellent resources and teaching and a lively and bustling student life. Admissions at CIIT are done strictly on merit, on the basis of previous academic record of the applicant and his/her performance in the entrance test. This test is conducted by an independent agency called National Testing Service (NTS). For further information about the NTS and the testing process applicants may get assistance at CIIT's offices.
Eligibility Criteria:-
BS(CE) BS(TE) Intermediate or equivalent with 'Physics , Maths, Chemistry' / Computer Science / Computer Studies or DAE in the relevant field with minimum 60 % marks
BS(Che) Intermediate with Pre-Engineering or equivalent or DAE in the relevant field with minimum 60 % marks
BS(Phy) Intermediate with Physics and minimum 50% marks, from an accrediated institution.
BS(BA) BS(Eco) BS(CS) B-Arech B-Design Intermediate or equivalent with minimum 50 % marks
Entrance Test:-
After the last date of submission of Admission Forms, entrance test will be conducted by NTS according to the admission schedule. All admissions shall be regulated on the basis of merit determined by combining the weighted marks obtained in the entrance test with the weighted marks earned in the previous public examinations.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE


General Eligibility & Merit Criteria for BS Programs



For admission to BS programmes, Candidates should have at least 50% marks in HSSC or equivalent.
Merit for Admission will be based on academic record (40%) and written test (60%).
All Bachelor degree programmemes are designed for duration of 4-years except B.A/LL.B which is designed for 6-years duration (including one year language programmeme Arabic & English).
Candidates holding degrees from other Universities shall be admitted as Provisional Students and shall be required to study/pass prescribed preparatory course work before qualifying for regular courses. Time spent for preparatory courses shall not be counted towards normal duration of a degree. Students studying preparatory courses shall not be allowed to register


Test Schedule:
Schedule for admission test is available on IIUI website www.iiu.edu.pk. No Separate call letter will be issued to any candidate.
Result of the admission Test will be announced through IIUI website within five days after the date of admission test.
There will be no interview for BBA/BS/LLB programmes.

Original NIC.
Clipboard, eraser, sharpener and two pencils / ball pen.
Calculators, Mobile phones, and other communication devices are not allowed in the examination hall.
